Sports Betting in Brazil: the fastest-growing market
Brazil's sports betting market has gone through a major transformation in recent years. The regulation of the industry, the growing popularity of digital platforms, and the widespread adoption of Pix as an instant payment method have created an environment where betting on football, basketball, or MMA is more accessible than ever. Today, anyone with a smartphone and a bank account can be placing bets on the Brasileirão within minutes.
At 7geme, that growth shows up in the volume of live bets placed on the Brasileirão and Copa do Brasil, which lead the platform in active markets during matches. Football remains the most-betted sport, but NBB basketball has been gaining ground steadily — especially in the playoffs, when the rivalry between Flamengo, Minas, and Franca draws bettors who have followed the sport closely all season long.
E-Sports: the newest sport at 7geme
The esports market is one of the fastest-growing segments on 7geme. CS2, League of Legends, Valorant, and Free Fire have a massive fan base in Brazil — and national tournaments like CBLOL and the Brazilian Free Fire championship are attracting more and more bettors backing their favorite teams. The advantage of e-sports for bettors is the sheer volume of data available: per-map statistics, head-to-head history, win rates in different scenarios — more than enough information for anyone who likes to do their research before entering a market.
UFC and MMA: Brazil has the best
Brazilians are passionate about MMA, and the UFC features Brazilian fighters on virtually every major card. Alexandre Pantoja, the flyweight champion, is one of the most heavily bet athletes in the division — especially when he's defending the belt. Betting on MMA requires a different mindset than football: there are no draws, fights can end by submission, knockout, or judges' decision, and each outcome carries different odds at 7geme. For those who follow the sport closely and know each fighter's style, this market offers real value in matchups that aren't so obvious to the general public.
Live betting: where experienced bettors find the most value
The live market at 7geme is the favourite among experienced sports bettors. The logic is straightforward: before a match, bookmakers have far more time to calculate and fine-tune their odds. During the game, odds move fast in response to unpredictable events — and anyone watching in real time often spots an opportunity before the platform has a chance to update its prices. A dominant side in the first 20 minutes that has yet to score, for example, may see its win odds drift upward artificially — creating real value for those who understand what is happening on the pitch.
On the 7geme, live betting is available for football, basketball, tennis, volleyball, e-sports, and MMA. Odds are updated automatically after every in-game event, and you can enter and exit multiple markets within the same match. With Pix withdrawals processed in as little as 2 minutes, the full cycle — from depositing to receiving your winnings — is faster than any other platform that requires foreign currency conversion.
